This Starbucks is a great location. Its in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City and really has a great local vibe to it. The service on the numerous times I have been there for the most part has been great. The coffee is obviously good, its Starbucks. In my opinion the good local feeling is what makes a good coffee shop. If your in the area check it out.

Great service at this location. I like how the employees work together behind the counter.

Starbucks is always consistent, I always know what I want and exactly how it's going to taste. Don't get me wrong, I love my local coffee shops too but when I know what I want & I know there's a Starbucks nearby, you can bet that's where I'll go. I can't stand it when people complain about Starbucks and the way their coffee tastes. It's always tasted that way people! It's the same in every city everywhere! Go somewhere else if you can't stand it & leave Starbucks alone. P.S. I also love how they pay their employees a fair wage & health insurance.

Its your typical Starbucks. It was pretty busy as its right on 4th south. It was in a very convenient location for me since I was walking around waiting on my car to have its oil changed. I'd like to have a longer review for this but its one of those things, if you've seen one you've seen them all.

This is a great location, they have a drive thru that is very fast. One of the few locations in downtown Salt Lake with private free parking so your not feeding a meter the whole time and doubling your cost. Seating offers a variety of options, there's a large dinner size table, 4 really comfortable leather chairs, a bar with bar stools along one wall, tables with chares and bench seating. Plenty of outlets at every type of seating so you don't have to choose between a nice comfortable chair or power for your phone/computer. Staff is also always very friendly and aim to please!! Happy Starbucks customer at this location :)

I have nothing but love for this Starbucks. The staff is friendly, efficient and make a perfect caramel misto. They know me by name and remember my drink. The one day I "cheated" on them and went to a different Starbucks the baristas used burnt coffee and the wrong proportion of milk to coffee. The next day when I told this to the 4th street barista he gave me a coupon for a free drink. To make up for a different stores' mistake. The place is always clean and the milk/sugar/napkin area is always stocked.

Now, I cannot deny I do enjoy "The Bucks". I've been to this particular location a few times, but will admit it had been a long time since my last visit and generally those have been over the weekend. I also tend usually to just get coffee and run, or even go through the drive through, but occasionally I will sit and enjoy it in store. In this instance, myself and some of the members of my team at work decided we would stay in store and enjoy our caffeinated beverages since some of them had gotten take out from a nearby restaurant, and this seemed a good option since we wanted to stop for coffee's too. I generally like the atmosphere of most Starbucks. The ones near where I live are great to sit and do some reading or catching up on current affairs, or for discussing business with colleagues. However, this store is very much for the college kids. Being someone who completed University 20 years ago it made me feel quite out of place. In fact, we were talking about work and you could tell by the looks that we weren't quite "hip" enough anymore to frequent this particular Starbucks! So it's a good store, but I think I'll stick to the ones that seem to cater better to business professionals who have long since been assimilated by Corporate America!!!

The barista making the coffee was friendly, the cashier was a bit snide. I ordered a caramel mochiato with extra caramel and got what tasted like a coffee with a bit more sugar and milk. The store is cleaner than other Starbucks I have been to.

It's one thing to enjoy good coffee but the team here are always fantastic. John and Brian manage this place incredibly and that's a great reason I keep coming back.

I love how I always get my drink the exact way I love it! I can be so specific with the temp, milk and extras, but each time it's never disappointing

I don't normally write reviews for big chains because all of my reviews would be the same. I love the iced tea; I always get half passion and half green tea with light ice. I don't like Starbucks regular coffee, but I do enjoy their lattes (plain or flavored), and all of their specialty drinks. I'm a huge fan of the Hazelnut Macchiato which they don't carry anymore, but generally the barista can come up with something pretty close. Anyway - point of the story. I'm only writing this review because I hate this location. I'm shocked that so many people prefer this location over the other two close Starbucks. Every time I've come here I've been met with poor customer service. They are also always SUPER SLOW. Yesterday a customer in front of me was complaining and the barista did NOTHING to fix the situation. There was a line and only one barista was making drinks and handling the cashier, while the other was just wondering around. I understand that sometimes you have other things to do to make sure everything runs smoothly, but customers are also a big concern. Plus, she wasn't really doing anything other than walking around. And this isn't a one-time event. This is how it's always been when I've been here. No smiles, no friendly greetings, just grumpy employees poorly executing their jobs. There are so many other Starbucks nearby plus some amazing other local coffee shops, that it's just not worth stopping by here.

I go a few times weekly, and out of all of the Utah Starbucks I've been to, this is by far the best location. Compared to other nearby locations in Salt Lake County, this one at least makes their drinks RIGHT and fast. Parking can be hard to find, though, especially during the lunch hour since it's in a plaza with a million restaurants, and you usually have to circle the lot a few times.

This is your typical Starbucks, but I lived near it and it got me through my masters degree. I would come there early in the morning to write and comeback after work to finish up writing and reading. The staff is friendly and they have outdoor seating which is a plus. Though it is on a busy street, it can be nice to be outside in the summer.

You really can't go wrong with Starbucks. This one is conveniently located. The outdoor seating is a nice option in warm weather. I work from home, and the few times a year my internet service has trouble I come here to work. You'd be surprised how much work you can get done after downing a venti soy chai latte - I'm on FIRE! Emails flying through the outbox, conference calls at top speed, new ideas popping up in my head. The wifi is great, and even though the place is usually full, I was able to carry on my conference calls (I felt rude to be doing it, but everyone was talking, so talking on my phone didn't interfere with the atmosphere), and once you figure out the whole code to the bathroom thing I was set.

This is a pretty nice starbucks. Easy to just grab a coffee and sit and talk with friends. I recommend buying a bag of their Pike Place roast. Great for home brewing.

This was my main coffeehouse the whole time I lived in Salt Lake, and I loved it! Unlike other Starbuck's, the staff here are not only friendly, but happy enough with their jobs to stick around for more than three months before quitting. Some of the people have worked there for years. The coffee, of course, is delicious, and the place (including bathrooms) is always clean. It's usually not too busy, so you can stick around and read while you're there. CONS: Sometimes during the morning rush, sugar/splenda and creamer will run out, and no one will notice. But as soon as you tell them, the prob's fixed very quickly.
